Sponsorship and Financial Support

The postgraduate diploma course fees for 2012 (academic year 2012-13) are £9,275.  Living costs are estimated at £3,600, and rent will be c. £1,900 if you live in provided accommodation for single students at Tubney.  We cannot accommodate couples or families at Tubney, and higher room rent in central Oxford would increase accommodation costs by at least £1,000.  International travel expenses, including visa application, are likely to be between £800 and £1,600, depending on your country of origin.

Dr Thomas Kaplan's grant provides for the sponsorship of candidates from the developing world, and you can apply for varying levels of sponsorship from the course if you are unable to secure funding yourself.  For students without their own funding, bursaries will be available to cover the following:

• Course fees
• International travel, to and from the UK
  
• Accommodation, and
  
• Living expenses for the duration of the course.
  

If you wish to be considered for sponsorship, please complete the Scholarship Application form, which can be downloaded here (64 Kb).  Incomplete scholarship forms, or applications submitted without a scholarship form, will not be considered for funding.  Please also ensure that you have ticked the correct check box on the diploma application form under 'Section L: Funding Information', and enter the Funding Source as '1213CONTWCRUDIP'.
