HOW YOU CAN HELP US

THE NEW WILDCRU APPEAL - read about our new premises and plans for the future

The Wildlife Conservation Research Unit - WildCRU - is funded by the generosity of charitable Trusts, companies and individual donors as well as by grants from Government bodies.
The only funds available to us are those that we raise and we are grateful for all donations large or small. The brutal truth is that without our sponsors we could not function. Please see below for details of how to donate. Or click on the button to make a donation online.

Making your gift online is the most efficient way to support WildCRU as it saves us time and money. We have partnered with Justgiving, a leading donation processing agency, to ensure that your gift is handled 100% securely and efficiently. What's more, if you’re a UK taxpayer Justgiving will automatically ensure a 28% tax bonus is added to your donation at no cost to you!

Other ways of making a donation:

Charitable status
WildCRU is part of the University of Oxford, an exempt charity under Schedule 2 of the Charities Act 1960. It also has exempt status in the USA (see below).

All donations make a real contribution
Every penny goes towards reaching our goals. There is no WildCRU newsletter and donors are encouraged to keep abreast of the latest developments by visiting the WildCRU web site. Unrestricted support is the most valuable gift because it gives WildCRU the flexibility to direct funds to the areas where they are most needed.

Partnerships
We are keen to build long-term relationships that benefit our donors and stakeholders. Enquiries are welcome - please contact Diana Roberts (address below) for details or email: diana.roberts@zoo.ox.ac.uk

DONATIONS MADE FROM THE UK

Cheques or credit cards
Please make your cheque payable to The University of Oxford, Department of Zoology and send it with your completed Form for UK Residents (Adobe PDF document) to the address provided.  Credit card payments may be made using the same form.  Should you be a British taxpayer and in a position to make your contribution using the Gift Aid Scheme, please complete the relevant section on the form.

(Since the budget of March 2000, all gifts of UK taxpayers have become eligible for tax benefits under the government's Gift Aid scheme whereby we can reclaim from the Government any basic rate tax paid on the gift - currently 28p for every £1. Higher rate taxpayers can also claim higher rate tax relief thereby reducing the cost of their gift considerably.)

Our web site was kindly sponsored by a very generous donation from Alan and Linda Montgomery (left).

With their support we were able to employ a web site manager/developer.
