What our volunteers think of the scheme

Lisa Wright:
"How on earth do I jot down a mere 'para or two' on something which has affected my life so much...
Exaggeration? Not really, I was a fairly bored sales rep who decided to come down to Wytham for a break in routine one weekend and zap...
I have decided Wytham itself must be haunted by tree sprites or some such, it has a feeling of its own as you enter the woods, I felt bewitched instantly and I don't think I was alone...
Why else would I be giving up a relatively well paid job to run around after furry, flea infested critters and enjoy it!!!
I have now got a place at Staffordshire University to read Ecology from Sept and I've been offered part-time work assisting Wildcru with water vole research!
So, well, well worth while, a unique experience."
