Your donation to the Mongolia Carnivore Project will directly support our on-the-ground research and conservation efforts. Your contribution will help support our work to understand the biology of Mongolia's carnivores and conserve the fragile ecosystems they inhabit.

Donations will help:

  • Purchase equipment to study carnivore biology, including telemetry transmitters, receivers, and antennas, GPS receivers, radios, solar equipment, and notebooks.
  • Train local herders in wildlife management techniques.
  • Raise awareness of carnivore conservation in Mongolia.
  • Provide educational opportunities for Mongolians.
  • Understand the biological impacts of hunting and other threats to carnivores.
  • Support surveys of the distribution and abundance of carnivores.
  • Promote the conservation of carnivores and steppe ecosystems.
  • Understand the biology of small mammal species in Mongolia.
  • Assess the conservation status of carnivores in Mongolia.
  • Bolster protection of the Ikh Nartiin Chuluun Nature Reserve.
