Farming, Wildlife and Sustainable Use

Is organic farming better for wildlife? In partnership with other organisations we are monitoring birds, bats, plants and insects on farms across the UK to find the answer.

Animal welfare science is a theme of many WildCRU projects. We are developing new methods of measuring and reducing stress in the llama-like wild vicuña of South America. In Cameroon and Nigeria an economist is working with our biologists to study the harvest of bushmeat, including primates.
