
PROFILE
The Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU) conducts a vast and diverse amount of scientific research, empirical field research and conservation actions on a global scale. Within WildCRU, Anthony has taken on the role of the Administrative Support Officer, supporting the extensive research and conservation efforts of WildCRU.
With a large number of research staff and students, Anthony is highly efficient with his administrative duties and responsibilities, and dedicates himself to ensure the smooth running and operation of WildCRU and its headquarters, based at Tubney House/ The Life and Mind Building. He meticulously manages a wide range of administrative tasks with precision and speed from; coordinating meetings and research talks with the team to external stakeholder; observing, testing and reporting estate matters; planning and organising field trip itinerary and logistics; collating, reviewing and populating website content and images; handling and processing financial invoices and voluminous spreadsheets; and ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining high work standards.
His ability to manage and coordinate a wide range of administrative tasks ensures that his team, both staff and students, can focus on their core research and duties.
Lastly, Anthony is known for his enthusiastic, friendly and approachable character, and fosters great interpersonal relationships with the people he works with, making people feel respected and supported, but also making it easy for people to come up and ask however many questions and queries.
