WildCRU PhD Student wows local schools with Badger Research

October 8, 2018

Student on our long-running Badger Project, Tanesha Allen, has been working with the Royal Society to encourage students to take up STEM subjects, such as the sciences. Together with Jeremy Thomas, the Co-ordinator at Abingdon Science Partnership, she has shown students all about camera-trapping and other scientific methods to stimulate their interest.

“The more we discussed it, the more obvious it became that we had a really good opportunity for a great project with genuine collaboration between schools and a field biologist and even an aim to contribute to Tanesha’s own D.Phil. research.”
