WildCRU visitor Yan Zhou returns home following a successful year in Oxford

We are delighted to congratulate Yan Zhao on her recent publication in Environmental Pollution. Yan joined WildCRU in January 2020 for one year as a visiting student from the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences with support from the China Scholarship Council. Despite COVID restrictions, we are delighted that Yan was able to find ways to enjoy her Oxford experience, ‘What’s more, I got to know WildCRU, and I got to know many new friends from different countries……Most importantly, during this year, I collaborated with Prof. Macdonald to complete a research article titled ‘Organochlorine compounds pose health risks to the Qinling Giant Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca qinlingensis)’, which was successfully published.
