Geopolitics of Wildlife Conservation Fellowship position

INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AT WILDCRU

Remarkable opportunity to join Oxford’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU) for 5-years on the The Kadas Family Foundation Senior Research Fellowship in the Geopolitics of Wildlife Conservation, (to be held at Worcester College Oxford). The successful applicant, who it is anticipated may have a background in environmental economics, political science, international relations, development, or indeed conservation biology, will join WildCRU’s team developing innovative inter-disciplinary research at the interface of these topics. The focus is likely to include mammals, including carnivores (recent examples arehttp://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/cobi.12494/abstract andhttp://www.pnas.org/content/108/34/13937.short). Salary in the range £38,896 – £46,414 per annum, commencing on 1 January 2017.  The successful candidate will join our team researching the geopolitics of wildlife conservation, and should have a doctorate and at least three years’ post-doctoral experience.
