Innovative Education Workshop

Ever wondered how to turn your research into an engaging video or a fun game that actually teaches? This 4-day workshop might be the one for you. Started in 2015, this workshop is aimed at equipping environmental educators with skills to transform their research into videos, games, eLearning and stories.

Taught by Dr. Cedric Tan, this course has been held in Singapore, China, Oxford and Malaysia, and trained over 100 educators and conservationists from 25 different countries. Learning is student-centred, utilising a variety of engaging tools such as games, team activities and role-play. The arts and social sciences are also integrated into the learning, whereby participants experience and apply concepts on behavioural change, motivation and assessment of their educational methods.

In 2019, the Innovative Education workshop will be held at the SCB conference in Malaysia.
