Getting Here
By Road
From Oxford follow signs for the A420 ‘The West’ signposted Swindon/Bristol off the ring road (A34). Continue along the A420 for approximately 8 miles. Upon entering Tubney on the A420 turn left into Tubney village. The Recanati-Kaplan Centre is approximately ½ mile on the left hand side indicated by the WildCRU sign-post.
By Rail
The nearest mainline station is situated in Oxford. From the main road (Frideswide Square) regular bus services (see below) or taxi’s can be taken to Tubney.
By Coach
The nearest coach station is situated in Oxford (Gloucester Green). From here regular bus services (see below) or taxis can be taken to Tubney.
By Local Bus
The Stagecoach Service ‘S6 Gold’ runs regular buses from Oxford (Gloucester Green) to Swindon, passing through Tubney. Ask the driver to let you off at Tubney’s St Lawrence Church. Right beside the stop there is a tarmac lane called Church Lane which is perpendicular to the A420 main road. Walk down Church Lane for a few minutes and it will take you to WildCRU’s back gate which is signposted.
Buses run every half an hour at quarter past and quarter to the hour throughout most of the day. Full timetable available here, from the Stagecoach website, or through http://www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk
By Air
From Heathrow take the Oxford Bus Airline service to Oxford’s Gloucester Green coach station. Leaving every 30 minutes from Central Bus Station (by 14A) and Terminal 5 (bay 11) (Travel time 80 minutes). The Airline also travels from Gatwick every hour (travel time 2-2 1/2 hours). Then take the bus S6 Gold or taxi to Tubney village.
