Emma Stewart-Wood

Admin Staff

As Unit Manager I oversee administration of WildCRU and the Recanati-Kaplan Centre at Tubney House. I work closely with staff and students on matters ranging from HR, finance and grant management to communicating research across various channels while seeking to develop and improve WildCRU’s outreach. As Trans-Kalahari Predator Programme Coordinator I work closely with our regional offices in Botswana and Zimbabwe assisting Dr Andrew Loveridge with programme administration and managing donor relations.

I am on the board of trustees for the WildCAT Botswana Trust which was founded in 2016 to support the coordination and implementation of the Trans-Kalahari Predator Programme conservation research and coexistence activities. Outside of WildCRU I am a trustee for the Arkleton Trust.

Prior to joining WildCRU I worked within the tourism industry, where I was marketing and managing photographic safari lodges across sub-Saharan Africa, and later, within the philanthropic sector I managed educational travel and events for an international giving circle.

Please contact me on either emma.stewart-wood@biology.ox.ac.uk or 01865 611100 if you have any general queries.
