Alumni

Born and raised – mostly – in Israel, I gained a BSc in Life Sciences from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, as part of the Amirim special honours programme. For the research project, which is part of the programme, I conducted a study in the Jerusalem Zoo on playmate choice in young mandrills (Mandrillus sphinx).

I then moved to Tel Aviv University where I did an MSc course (combined taught and research) in Ecology & Conservation at the Zoology Department. My thesis, entitled “Response rules of the House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) to the begging vocalizations of its young”, was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Arnon Lotem.

Now, as part of WildCRU, I am studying female mate choice in the harvest mouse (Micromys minutus) as an MSc by research. When I’m not working on that, I am pursuing other interests which include climate change-related policies, economics and international relations.
