WildCRU Director meets Daw Aung San Suu Kyi

Prof David Macdonald was proud and privileged to meet Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the Burmese Nobel Peace Laureate, on 26th October 2013 at the British Council HQ in London. Prof Macdonald gave a talk on environmental conservation and development in Burma at the event hosted by the British Council and the Vice Chancellor to celebrate Oxford University’s support for education reform in Burma and the developing relationship between the University of Oxford and the University of Rangoon.
