PROFILE
I am a conservation biologist passionate about field-based research and hands-on wildlife conservation. My journey began with a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, and has since taken me across Africa, where I have worked on diverse conservation projects. From Madagascar to South Africa and now Malawi, I have gained extensive experience in species monitoring, ecological research, and conservation management. I currently serve as the Field Research Coordinator in Liwonde National Park, overseeing wildlife monitoring programs and research operations.
My work focuses on species such as African wild dogs, lions, and cheetahs, which have been gradually reintroduced to the park since 2017, as well as rare antelopes, vultures, and Temminck’s pangolins. Through the PGDip in International Wildlife Conservation Practice at WildCRU, I aim to refine my technical skills, deepen my conservation knowledge, and enhance my ability to develop effective, field-based conservation strategies. I am excited to be part of this program and collaborate with experts dedicated to protecting wildlife and ecosystems.
