I am a fourth year Mbiol student in my final year working on my master’s project. My project is looking at the perceptions and definitions of animal welfare, specifically, how conservation scientists and animal welfare scientists understand and think about animal welfare.

To go about this, I am planning on designing and distributing a questionnaire to those two groups of scientists to find any misconceptions, differences or common ground that might appear. This project will hopefully go on to inform future projects interested in a similar area.
