PROFILE

I am a conservation professional using data and conservation technology to support carnivore conservation. My professional experience has developed through managing biological monitoring and wildlife law enforcement data to support carnivore conservation programmes within the Greater Kafue Ecosystem in Zambia.

Working at the intersection of data management, conservation technology, and field-based biological monitoring has strengthened my appreciation of the critical role that reliable data plays in informing effective conservation decisions that improve our understanding of wildlife ecosystems.

My interest in conservation began at an early age through watching wildlife programmes and experiencing wildlife in the Kafue landscape.

Being immersed in the peace and beauty of nature and witnessing its incredible diversity inspired me to become an advocate for wildlife and strengthened my commitment to its conservation.

I am excited to be part of this programme as it provides an opportunity to further develop the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to make a meaningful contribution to long-term wildlife conservation. I hope to deepen my scientific and practical understanding of conservation, strengthen my leadership skills, mentor emerging conservationists, and collaborate with professionals within WildCRU and conservation. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to stronger, evidence-based conservation practice in Zambia and beyond.
