By Road

If entering Oxford from the west, please note that the Botley Road is currently closed and a diversion is in place to the south of Oxford city centre. Follow signs towards the Oxford University Museum of Natural History and Linacre College.

By Rail and Bus

The nearest mainline station is situated in Oxford. The Life and Mind Building is approximately 25 minutes walk from the station. Taxis and buses are available outside of the station, with the S3 and 5 buses taking visitors part way to the building. Full bus timetables are available from the Stagecoach and Oxford Bus Company websites.

By Coach

The nearest coach station is situated in Oxford (Gloucester Green). From here, you are able to walk or take regular buses and taxis towards the building.

By Air

From Heathrow take the Oxford Bus Airline service to Oxford’s Gloucester Green coach station. Leaving every 30 minutes from Central Bus Station (by 14A) and Terminal 5 (bay 11) (Travel time 80 minutes). The Airline also travels from Gatwick every hour (travel time 2-2 1/2 hours). Then follow the walking, taxi or bus routes to the Life and Mind Building.
