In 2015, WildCRU’s lion research received international attention when a lion we tracked, Cecil, was trophy hunted. For more than a decade, WildCRU has been working to better understand and reduce many different threats to lions. Our work is about much more than one lion, or one issue.

As such, we are pleased to share the WildCRU African Lion Research & Conservation 2015-2025 Report detailing outputs from WildCRU researchers and collaborators. Please click here to download the full report: WildCRU African Lion Research & Conservation 2015-2025.
