PROFILE
I am a fourth year MBiol student who is interested in animal conservation, behaviour and zoology, with a special interest in mammalian carnivores. I will be working with the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Project to complete my dissertation which will be on their spatial and social organisation. Specifically looking at how variation in the abundance and distribution of resources as well as differences population density and neighbour pressure affect the relationship between pack size and territory size.
While this has been looked in one or two populations previously my work aims to expand the existing models to encompass a larger amount of temporal and spatial variation. This research will also help to progress the study of the evolution of sociality in carnivores.
