Paula Dufourg

Diploma Students

Hello everyone! My name is Paula and I am an Argentine biologist passionate about conservation. I was born in the wild Patagonia and I grew up in Estancia San Juan, a field where I learned to value that the most important thing in life is simple things.

There I decided to study biology, I knew that conservation should be a tool to manage production in the fields of Patagonia. Since I was a child, I experienced the conflict between farmers and terrestrial carnivores of this region, for that reason, today I feel passionate about that research.

I have always worked with marine environments and their diversity, however, this terrestial them me is something that I am passionate about and I need to solve it to be able to implement it in the field where I grew up. I consider that the conflicts between livestock activity and terrestrial carnivorous species are issues to be resolved. Lets do this!
