I am a conservation biologist from Zambia dedicated to field based wildlife monitoring, research and management. My commitment to biodiversity conservation stems from academic study and field experience within Zambia’s rich yet vulnerable ecosystems. I developed passion for wildlife through direct experience in Zambia’s Liuwa Plains National Park where I have witnessed the challenges and triumphs of protecting endangered species while working with communities living with wildlife.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from Copperbelt University while volunteering in various conservation efforts early in my career. My undergraduate studies provided a strong foundation in wildlife biology, ecology, and conservation principles.

In 2025, I was honoured to attend the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi as a youth conservationist, an experience that broadened my outlook on global conservation challenges and solutions.

The WildCRU Diploma’s emphasis on applied conservation practice and  field methods aligns perfectly with my current needs as a field leader. I am eager to enhance my knowledge in wildlife research techniques, ecological monitoring, and conservation communication. The program’s reputation for training conservation practitioners who tackle real-world challenges, especially in African contexts, makes it an ideal environment for me to develop further.
