Green Oscar for WildCRU collaborator, Anjali Watson, for her work with Sri Lankan leopards

April 26, 2018

Huge congratulations to Anjali Watson for winning a 2018 Whitley Award, with which she was presented by HRH Princess Anne at the Royal Geographical Society. We are so proud to be associated with the Sri Lankan leopard project run by Anjali and her husband Andrew Kittle which has already led to insightful science (https://www.wildcru.org/news/new-paper-on-sri-lankan-leopards/) and aided by this prestigious award will surely now continue to go from strength to strength. Anjali is an academic visitor to WildCRU  and with her success we are doubly jubilant remembering that another member of the WildCRU team, Ximena Velez-Liendo  was last year’s winner (https://www.wildcru.org/news/oxford-collaboration-wins-green-oscar).
