WildCRU 2024 Impact Report now available

November 24, 2025

No matter where we are, our core focus and purpose remains the same – to use the best possible conservation science to tangibly improve outcomes for both people and wildlife

Professor Amy Dickman, Director.

Research is at the heart of all we do. We don’t judge research success merely on the number of papers published, or their academic standing, The most important thing for us is that we do excellent science which leads to demonstrable conservation impacts. The case studies in this Impact Report give just a snapshot of how our fantastic team are achieving this worldwide, from Angola to Taiwan and from wild dogs to wild grasses, thanks to the support of a wide network of people in Oxford and far beyond.

None of WildCRU’s work would be possible without support from the Biology Department, colleges (particularly Lady Margaret Hall and Pembroke), the wider University and our funders. Thank you!
